Unambiguous addresses thanks to the correct attribution of addresses by municipalities
Non ambiguous addresses are essential for citizens, local authorities, emergency services, GPS systems and postal services.
The smallest ambiguity can cause wrong delivery of mail items, result in wrong GPS instructions or, even worse, dispatch emergency services to the wrong place.
By applying very simple recommendations, the municipalities can avoid these ambiguities. These recommendations can be found in this brochure (only available in French or in Dutch).
