Who can take my parcel out of a Parcel Locker?

Anyone can pick up your parcel. He or she must have the barcode, 6-digit code or the QR code that you received via email or in the My bpost app.
Occasionally the people at the Pick-up point won’t have had the chance to process your parcel, so they won’t be able to find it for you or hand it over immediately. To make sure the parcel is ready for you, check the My bpost app or Track & Trace before you go to the Pick-up point. If your parcel should be available at the Pick-up point according to Track & Trace, but it isn’t, ask for more information via the chatbot, in Track & Trace or in the My bpost app. This should be the quickest way to get an update on the status and the whereabouts of your parcel. If not, as a last resort you can fill out the online form at the bottom of this page to start an investigation. To start a chat, simply enter the barcode number and postcode of your parcel in Track & Trace.
Stamps with a face value in Belgian francs will be invalid from 1 January 2028. Stamps with a face value in euros are valid indefinitely. The old stamps cannot be used for prior mail in Belgium (this requires a Prior stamp with barcode). Parcels or registered mail cannot be franked with the old stamps either.
What happens to my parcel after the postman takes it?

Once the postman finishes their round, they bring your parcel to the nearest distribution centre. From there, your parcel is sorted and starts its journey to the recipient. You can follow the status of your parcel with Track & Trace and the My bpost app using your barcode.
I disagree with the import costs. What can I do?

Paying import costs is a legal obligation when you order something from outside the EU. In addition to paying, you have the following options:

, The calculated import costs are based on the estimated value of the contents (based on the invoice), the official VAT rates and the customs duties applicable on the goods being shipped. If you can prove that the value was not estimated correctly, you can request a recalculation. In some cases, shipments are exempt from VAT and customs duties. You can request a recalculation in the following cases: shipments sent as a gift a diplomat receives a shipment a shipment is reimported Enter the barcode of your shipment into Track & Trace or the My bpost app. You will find the dispute form above the payment button. Once we receive your request, the payment deadline will be cancelled. Your request will be reviewed and either accepted or declined. You will be able to see the result in Track & Trace and in the My bpost app, and you will receive a new payment request with a payment deadline. If the shipment can be imported free of charge, you will be notified. The shipment is then presented to Belgian customs for clearance.
, I refuse to pay the import costs
, If you refuse to pay the import costs, we will not be able to deliver your shipment and it will be returned to sender. You can contact the sender to see if the purchase value can be fully or partially refunded to you. You can refuse to pay online. To do so, enter the barcode of your shipment via Track & Trace or the My bpost app. You will find the 'refuse' button next to the payment button.
Do (very) old stamps remain valid?

Stamps with a face value in Belgian francs will be invalid from 1 January 2028. Stamps with a face value in euros are valid indefinitely. You can use them to frank Non prior mail in Belgium. After we have received your parcel from the sender, we try to deliver all parcels sent within Belgium the next workday. You can follow the status of your parcel with Track & Trace and the My bpost app using your barcode. , You can track all your parcels in the app. That includes parcels delivered by other companies. Most bpost parcels are shown automatically in the app. You can add other parcels by scanning the barcode or manually entering the barcode number. You receive status updates to ensure you always know where your parcel is. You can choose which parcels you want to receive status updates for.
